Children learning tricks of martial arts in Sambalpur school


Dhamtari, 20 May (HIST). This year also summer sports training has been organized by the Sports and Youth Welfare Department. In the same sequence, martial arts Taekwondo training is being given from May 17 to June 6 under the guidance of instructor Omkarlal Patel of the Government Higher Secondary School, Sambalpur of the district. It was inaugurated by Principal Shailendra Tarar.

On Monday, the third day of training, instructor Omkarlal Patel said that in the present environment, sports are very important to keep oneself fit and one can keep oneself safe through martial arts. Along with studies, sports are also important. Sports develop a healthy body and mind. Martial arts training is given throughout the year. A free camp has been organized to give opportunity to other students.

Summer sports training camp continues

A 21-day summer camp has been organized for children from May 17 to June 6 by the Sports Youth Welfare Department, Dhamtari at Babu Pandhari Rao Kridutt Indoor Stadium. Wrestling Association President Laxman Sahu Pahalwan, who came to inspect the training, said that wrestling requires mental stability along with physical strength. Play the game with all your heart. In sports there is always victory and defeat. Try to give your best in training. During this, children are being taught the nuances of wrestling and karate. On this occasion, Karate Association President Ashok Sinha, Karate instructor Hemant Sarva, wrestling instructor Vikas Singh Thakur, exercise instructor Pradeep Sinha, guardian Harish Dhruv were present.
