Koderma, 12 August (HS). Diarrhea has spread in Mushariya Tola of Dumdumma village of Kataiya Panchayat of Satgawan block of the district. One child has died due to diarrhea and many people are suffering from it. Another woman Poonam Devi (30) is undergoing treatment in a private clinic in Govindpur of Bihar state. All the affected women and children are from different families.
In fact, it is being said that diarrhea is caused by consuming dirt and mahua liquor. According to the victim's family, Karu Manjhi, the condition of the deceased Neeraj Kumar suddenly deteriorated. After taking medicine for diarrhea from rural doctor Dashrath Prasad, the child's condition deteriorated and he died. Apart from this, many people including Karan Kumar (21), Dharampal Musahar (12), Vakil Musahar (4), Pooja Kumari (7) are ill.
Neeraj Kumar was the first person in the village to start vomiting and having diarrhea. Later, other people gradually started vomiting and having diarrhea. On Sunday, when the condition started getting worse, the local health worker Sangeeta Devi came to know about it. The health worker informed ANM Sudha Kumari about it. A camp has been set up to treat the people who have fallen ill due to diarrhea. Seeing the serious condition of a woman Poonam Devi, she has been admitted to a private clinic in Govindpur with the help of villagers.
