Chief Minister’s best wishes on the birth anniversary of Lord Birsa Munda and Tribal Pride Day

Jaipur, 14 November (HS). Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma has extended hearty congratulations and best wishes to the people of the state on the birth anniversary of Lord Birsa Munda and Tribal Pride Day (15 November).

Sharma said that tribal communities have a special place in the history of the freedom struggle. Lord Birsa Munda dedicated his life to protect the motherland and save its natural wealth from exploitation. The Chief Minister said that tribal society has a big contribution in the conservation of forest and mineral wealth. Today, in the era of global warming and climate change, everyone should take inspiration from the lifestyle of the tribal society. Sharma said that the state government is committed to empowering the tribals and protecting their interests.
