Lucknow, June 29 (HS). Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Saturday inaugurated 165 upgraded Kasturba Gandhi Vidyalaya along with laying the foundation stone of various schemes of the Basic and Secondary Education Department at Lok Bhavan.
On this occasion, the Chief Minister started the process of transferring an amount of Rs. 1200 per student to the bank account of their parents through DBT for purchasing dress, shoes, socks, sweaters, stationery and school bags for children studying in the schools of Basic and Secondary Education Department. During this, additional rooms were also inaugurated by the Chief Minister in the DIETs of 11 districts. On this occasion, Yogi Adityanath honored meritorious students and teachers.
A person who takes shortcuts can never be successful: Yogi
Addressing the program, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said that the double engine government is committed to providing better education to everyone. He said that there is no alternative to hard work. A person who adopts shortcuts can never succeed. We have to follow the right path. We should not fall into confusion.
Chief Minister Yogi said that daughters need more attention. They have scored good marks in the examination. Therefore, do not discriminate between sons and daughters. Provide equal opportunities to both.
On this occasion, Secondary Education Minister Gulabo Devi and Basic Education Minister Sandeep Singh were prominently present.
