Dehri on Sone, September 1 (HS). On Monday, Chief Minister Nitish Kumar will inaugurate and lay the foundation stone of several development schemes including water supply scheme from Sone river in Dehri, Sasaram, Aurangabad, Center of Excellence in ITI, Police Joint Bhawan etc. in Dehri on Sone of Rohtas district.
DM Naveen Kumar gave this information on Sunday. He said that during his one-day visit, the Chief Minister will lay the foundation stone of the drinking water supply scheme to be built at a cost of Rs 13 billion 47 crores for Dehri, Aurangabad and Sasaram at the local anicut on Monday. The foundation stone of this scheme will be laid near the anicut barrage of the old Son canal system. Here the anicut barrage built in 1872 will be repaired and water will be stored. A water treatment plant will be set up in Bastipur. From where, drinking water will be supplied to the three cities through pipeline using the surface water of Son.
He said that he will inaugurate the Center of Excellence built in the Government Industrial Training Institute of Dehri and Sasaram. The Center of Excellence built with the help of Tata Technology has been built at a cost of about three crores. ITI students will be taught through modern technology. Now the students here will get training in Industry 4.0 technology.
The school Anganwadi building and library will be inaugurated and the foundation stone will be laid in Bastipur of the Panchayat.
He will also lay the foundation stone of Dehri Mufussil Police Station building in Chakiya of Pahelaja Panchayat, and the joint police building and FSL building to be constructed for Shahabad Police Range in Bhaluari at a cost of approximately 17 crores by the Police Building Construction Corporation.
