Shimla, 01 November (HS). On the auspicious occasion of Diwali, Chief Minister Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu performed puja with his family at his official residence Oak Over on Thursday late evening and wished for the happiness and peace of the people of the state.
While wishing Diwali to the people of the state, the Chief Minister said that this festival brings light, unity, prosperity and happiness in the lives of the people.
He urged all the people of the state to adopt the spirit of unity and participation and said that these feelings ensure the development and welfare of the society, state and country.
On this occasion, people of the state including senior Congress leaders, senior officials, Congress party workers wished the Chief Minister a happy Diwali and wished for peace and prosperity of the state.
