Chief Minister Say

Raipur, June 23 (HS). Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai attended the national lecture organized in the memory of the fifth Sarsanghchalak of RSS, late Sudarshan ji, at Deendayal Upadhyay Auditorium in Raipur on Sunday evening as the chief guest. The main speaker in the lecture organized on the topic “Power of Indian Family System” was RSS co-Sarkaryavah Ramdatt Chakradhar. He said in the lecture that the value-based family system is the strength of India, the family is the axis of India. If the family is united, the country will be united. The program organized by Shri Sudarshan Prerna Manch at Deendayal Upadhyay Auditorium was presided over by the Sanghchalak of Madhya Kshetra, Dr. Purnendu Saxena. On this occasion, Assembly Speaker Dr. Raman Singh and guide of Shri Sudarshan Prerna Manch, Dr. Rajendra Dubey were present on the stage.

The campaign for social harmony was the life mantra of Sudarshan ji: Chief Minister Sai

Chief Minister Vishnudev Sai, while addressing the program from the seat of the chief guest, threw light on the life of former Sarsanghchalak Sudarshan. He said that the campaign for social harmony was the life mantra of Sudarshan ji. He was a visionary of a harmonious society. Chief Minister Shri Sai said that I am remembering many memories of Sudarshan ji today. Meeting him always inspired me to do something new. Whenever I met any public representative, he would advise the government to work for the benefit of the public. He was a very simple and easy-going person, no one hesitated in meeting him. Once someone met him, he would get very impressed. He had studied engineering, so he had knowledge of new technology and science subjects as well. There was no such subject on which he did not have deep knowledge. Today the world is worried about climate change and pollution, 30 years ago Sudarshan ji used to talk about saving water, planting trees, saving the environment, organic farming. He has had a close relationship with the Mayaru land of Chhattisgarh.

The main speaker of the lecture, Shri Ram Dutt, while expressing his views on the topic of “Power of Indian Family System”, said that excellent life values have developed in India, which can be seen in the family. In western countries, children go to school with weapons, 40 thousand children are killed in firing every year. In America, the number of fatherless children is constantly increasing. Whereas in India, children are made to have character in families. Greek traveler Megasthenes had written that the people of India are of character, British officer Macaulay also used to say the same. The British wanted to establish their rule here by breaking this power.

He said that in India, women are considered as mother. In Ramayana, there is a story of Laxman ji in which he talks about seeing only the feet of his sister-in-law. Many examples of this sentiment are found in the lives of Swami Vivekananda and Chhatrapati Shivaji. Not only in mythological or historical, but in the lives of common people of today, one can see high values of life. Mother teaches children values in the family. In Indian philosophy, there is concern for everyone, animals, birds, plants, service to parents, sense of respect, sense of respect for the Guru, respect for guests, Atithi Devo Bhava, taking everyone along, every family gives such teachings to its children. This is the value. In the present time, we are seeing that these values are eroding in the family and society.

Shri Ram Dutt said that the feeling of nation first in children also develops in the family. There is a need to awaken this feeling, the role of mother is important in this. In India, mother is introduced to children, it is she who imparts values to children. Mother gives direction to the thoughts of children. For example, when Swami Vivekananda said in his childhood that he wanted to become a horse-cart driver, then his mother instead of scolding him showed him the photo of Kurukshetra and said that if he wants to become a horse-cart driver, then he will have to become a horse-cart driver like Krishna who drove Arjun's chariot. She gave direction to the thoughts of Swami Vivekananda.

He said, to give values to the future generation, we will have to take initiative from our home, for this everyone will have to take a resolution for themselves. The family will be strong, every family will build a fort, then the nation of India will also be powerful. The strength of India is in collectivity.

Therefore, we all have to take five resolutions

1. Family awareness

Once a week all the family members should gather together for Bhajans, have a community meal and discuss good things. The family should be cultured and live in harmony.

2. To increase social harmony, invite people from all sections of society for a meal once a year with respect. Invite household staff for a meal. This will increase harmony.

3. Protect the environment, we can survive for some time without food and water but it is not possible to survive for a moment without oxygen, so the family should pledge to plant 10 trees every year and grow them. A movement should be started to increase greenery.

4. We have to learn to awaken ourselves, respect local food, clothing, and mother tongue.

5. Civic sense, the rules and laws of the country must be followed. The symbols of the nation must be respected.

Present in the program were RSS co-region pracharak Prem Sidar, Chhattisgarh province pracharak Abhayram, province Sanghchalak Dr. Toplal Verma, MP Santosh Pandey, MLAs, Rajesh Moonat, Khuswant Saheb, Sampat Agarwal, Anuj Sharma along with vice chancellors of universities and Pawan Sai and other eminent citizens.
