Chief Minister Nitish Kumar’s visit to Muzaffarpur and launch of development schemes worth Rs 450 crore

On Sunday, Chief Minister Nitish Kumar reached Muzaffarpur as part of his Pragati Yatra, where he laid the foundation stone and inaugurated development projects worth Rs 450 crore in the district. The main objective of his visit was to inspect the progress of development schemes and communicate with the public.

Inspection of ROB and Ring Road

Chief Minister reached Ramdayalu Nagar at 10:45 am. Here he inspected the maps and DPR (Detailed Project Report) of Ramdayalu ROB, Atrar Hathori Aurai High Level Bridge over Bagmati River, and Dighra Rampur Sah Ring Road. The CM directed the officials to start these projects as soon as possible. After this he reached Dighra Rampur Sah and inspected the site for the Ring Road.

Foundation stone laying and inauguration of schemes worth Rs 450 crore

The Chief Minister launched various development projects in the district. These projects include infrastructure development, bridge construction, and construction of rural roads. This is an important step to accelerate connectivity and development in the state.

Strict security arrangements

The district administration had made tight security arrangements during the Chief Minister’s visit. The lane going from Bhagwanpur Golambar towards Hajipur was kept closed since morning. The security was so tight that even Bihar government ministers Kedar Prasad Gupta and LLC Dinesh Singh had to leave their convoy and walk to the venue.

Inauguration of Panchayat building and post office in Naroli

After the inspection, the Chief Minister reached Narauli, where he inaugurated the Panchayat Government Building and Post Office. Deputy CM Vijay Kumar Sinha and Water Resources Minister Vijay Chaudhary were also present on this occasion. The Chief Minister visited the stall of Jeevika Didis and appreciated their work and took information.

Anganwadi Center and Divyangjan Assistance

In Narauli, the Chief Minister visited an Anganwadi centre, where the children welcomed him by reciting poems. During this, the CM distributed tricycles given by the Social Welfare Department among the disabled people. This initiative of the Chief Minister was greatly appreciated by the public.

Nitish Kumar: “Will not go here and there now”

During his speech in Muzaffarpur, the Chief Minister targeted the opposition and said, “We have taken big steps for the development of women. I accidentally walked in twice with people who never worked for women, but won’t go around again.” He said that under his rule, women have been empowered and all sections of the society have uplifted.

Statement of Minister Vijay Chaudhary

Praising the Chief Minister’s Pragati Yatra, Minister Vijay Choudhary said, “The CM himself is visiting the villages and reviewing the ground reality of the schemes. This is giving a new direction to the development of the state.” He said that such journeys are changing the face of the villages of Bihar.
