Chandigarh, 15 November (HS). Haryana Chief Minister Naib Singh Saini said that the government has decided to name the 700-bed government hospital being built in Gurugram at a cost of about Rs 1000 crore in the name of Shri Guru Nanak Dev Ji in the assembly session on November 14. Apart from this, the second installment of bonus of Rs 300 crore has been released to the farmers today on the occasion of Prakash Parv.

The Chief Minister was talking to journalists after paying obeisance at Gurdwara Nada Sahib in Panchkula on Friday. He said that the BJP government is always working in the interest of farmers and society. The Chief Minister said that it has also been decided to transfer 77 acres of land of Chilla Sahib Gurudwara in Sirsa in the name of Gurughar. There was a continuous demand for this land. Sri Guru Nanak Dev Ji came to this land and performed penance continuously for 40 days. Therefore the government handed over this land to the Gurudwara. This is a matter of great pride for all of us.

The Chief Minister said that the portal has been launched today to resolve the enhancement problems of 7000 plot holders of HSVP. This portal will remain open continuously for six months and will solve their problems. Apart from this, soil cards will be made to provide information to the farmers about increasing the fertility of their land. Soil cards of farmers’ lands are made after every three years. Now soil cards of 40 lakh farmers will be made and issued which will give information to the farmers about the good health of the land. The Chief Minister said that today he has come to Gurudwara Nada Sahib to wish for the happiness and prosperity of the citizens of the state.

In response to a question regarding the land to be given for building the Assembly building in Chandigarh, the Chief Minister said that it would be right if the Punjab Government takes a decision in the interest of farmers. Along with this, the work of purchasing the crops of the farmers should also be done. The Punjab government is doing such work to hide its shortcomings and divert people’s attention. The Chief Minister said that if the Congress government had taken decisions in the interest of the people, then the people of Haryana would not have tried to defeat them. Similarly, the people of Punjab will do similar work for the AAP government.

The Chief Minister said that Shri Guru Nanak Dev Ji taught humanity the lesson of ‘Kirat Karo, Naam Japo aur Vand Chhako’ centuries ago. The state government has considered Baba Nanak’s speech and teachings as paramount. The teachings of Shri Guru Nanak Dev Ji will always be remembered for spiritual enlightenment, worldly prosperity and social harmony.

On this occasion, Chairman of Sikh Gurdwara Management Committee, Haryana, Baljit Singh Daduwal said that the Haryana government deserves congratulations for taking many decisions in the interest of farmers.
