New Delhi/Jaipur, June 10 (HS). Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma on Monday inspected the reconstruction work of Rajasthan House situated on Prithviraj Road in New Delhi and directed the officials to speed up the work and complete it within the stipulated time frame. Sharma said that along with the time frame, special attention should also be paid to the quality of the construction work.
During the inspection, the officials told the Chief Minister that the reconstruction work of the historic Rajasthan House is being completed on priority. The work of 2 basement structures of this Rajasthan House, which is being built at a cost of Rs 136 crore, has been completed. The work of installing ducts for air and pipes for fire fighting etc. in the lower and upper basement is in progress. The officials informed that the civil work of underground water tank and sewerage treatment plant is also in progress in the lower basement. The Chief Minister directed the officials to complete the reconstruction work of the building soon.

Rajasthan House, which is being reconstructed in 7050 square meters in Lutyens Zone of New Delhi, is a state guest house of Rajasthan government. In its reconstruction, Rajasthan's artistic architectural style will be beautifully coordinated. Dholpur sand stone cladding will be done on the outer wall of the building. Provision of two basements, ground floor and 6 floors has been made in the new Rajasthan House. Parking will be made in the basement of the building and lobby, cafeteria, waiting area, dining area, fountain, hanging chandelier, atrium etc. will be made in the main building. At the same time, conference hall, library and gym will be available on the first floor and facilities like terrace garden, party hall, yoga room etc. will be available on the roof.
