Chief Minister inaugurated various schemes in Saharsa district, dedicated Maa Vishhara temple | News India

Patna, 20 September (HS). Chief Minister Nitish Kumar on Friday unveiled and dedicated the stone plaque of the ancient Maa Vishhara Bhagwati temple located in Gram Panchayat Diwari of Kahra block under Saharsa district.

After the inauguration, the Chief Minister prayed at the temple and prayed for peace and prosperity of the state. During this, the Chief Minister announced that the Tourism Department will now organize the Vishahara Bhagwati Temple Festival here every year.

The Chief Minister visited the premises of the ancient Maa Vishhara Bhagwati temple and took stock of the developmental works. The Chief Minister planted a sapling in the temple premises and released fish seeds in the pond located in the temple premises. The Chief Minister said that the beautification of the temple premises has been done in a better way. Now the devotees coming here will not face any kind of inconvenience, they will feel good coming here.

After this, the Chief Minister inaugurated and laid the foundation stone by unveiling the plaque of the schemes of various departments in the village panchayat Amarpur located in Kahra block.

The Chief Minister laid the foundation stone for the construction of a high-level RCC bridge on the Kosi river between Khajur Deva Chowk and Deng Rahi Ghat in Saharsa district at a cost of Rs 414.74 crore. He also laid the foundation stone for a model police station building to be constructed in Saharsa district at a cost of Rs 5.67 crore.

Under Jal-Jeevan-Hariyali Abhiyan, the Chief Minister also inaugurated the dredging work of the government pond located near Panchayat Government Bhawan Amarpur. During this, the Chief Minister also released fish seeds in the pond. Instructing the officials, the Chief Minister said that a stepped ghat should be constructed on the banks of this government pond and dense tree plantation should be done around it. He said that we have renovated and beautified the government ponds through Jal-Jeevan-Hariyali Abhiyan.
