Chief Minister inaugurated the first river front built at a cost of Rs 115 crore in Simaria Dham

Patna, 24 February (HS). Late Saturday evening, Chief Minister Nitish Kumar inaugurated the first river front built on the lines of Harki Pauri at a cost of Rs 115 crore at Simaria Ghat in Begusarai district in Bihar.

On this occasion, apart from Deputy CM Vijay Kumar Sinha and many ministers of Nitish cabinet, Union Minister and Begusarai MP Giriraj Singh was also present. There was a lot of happiness among the people regarding the inauguration. The Bihar government has done beautification work on the lines of Harki Pauri in Simaria Ganga Dham at a cost of Rs 115 crore.

For the convenience of the devotees, a staircase ghat and river front of 550 meters has been built. Simaria Ganga Dham is being developed in a modern way including changing room on the banks of Ganga Ghat, Ganga Aarti place, security circle toilet, three-storey Dharamshala, parking, park, watch tower, Kalpavas area.

In November 2022, Chief Minister Nitish Kumar had reached Simaria Ganga Dham and met the Kalpavasis and devotees. After this the Chief Minister had announced the rejuvenation of Simaria. In March 2023, the government had approved the development of Simaria Ghat on the lines of Harki Pauri at a cost of about Rs 115 crore.
