Patna, 23 October (HS). Chief Minister Nitish Kumar today inaugurated 99 schemes worth Rs 22,497.73 lakh and laid the foundation stone of 112 schemes costing Rs 26,919.17 lakh under Supaul district. During this, the Chief Minister also visited Ward No. 12 (Mahadalit Tola) of Maladhgaon located in Kishanpur block of Supaul district and took stock of the developmental schemes.

During the tour, the Chief Minister unveiled and inaugurated the plaque related to the construction of Chhath Ghat in the public pond, construction work of soil cum paver block and installation of solar lights in 4 wards of Maladh Panchayat.

After the inauguration, the Chief Minister inspected the public pond. As part of the inspection, the Chief Minister also released fish fingerlings in the public pond. Also giving instructions to the officials, he said that just as a stepped ghat has been constructed on one side of the pond, in the same way, stepped ghats should be constructed on all three sides of the pond so that it becomes convenient for people to take bath during Chhath fast, rituals etc. yes.

The Chief Minister visited the exhibition organized by Agriculture Department, Revenue and Land Reforms Department, Rural Development Department, Social Welfare Department, Minority Welfare Department and many other departments.

After inspecting the primary school Maladh, the Chief Minister took information from the children regarding their education and the facilities they are getting. Appreciating the education being given by teachers to small children through poetry and games, the Chief Minister said that you people are enhancing the knowledge of children in a proper manner. In this way small children will learn more quickly and this will increase their understanding. During this, the District Magistrate told the Chief Minister that 105 such schools are being run in the district. Apart from this, a large number of Anganwadi centers are also being built.

The Chief Minister inaugurated and laid the foundation stone of newly constructed buildings of primary schools and unveiled the foundation stones of the buildings to be constructed. After this, the Chief Minister inspected the Integrated Child Development Project and talked to the children. The children told the Chief Minister that studies are conducted here regularly and we also get the benefits of the schemes run on time. The Chief Minister presented the keys of the battery operated tricycle approved for the disabled by the Directorate of Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities under the Social Welfare Department to the beneficiaries.

The Chief Minister released the 'Solution Book' related to District Public Grievance Redressal in a program organized in Maladh Panchayat. During this, the Chief Minister announced Bihar Student Credit Card, Skilled Youth Programme, Agricultural Mechanization Scheme, Makhana Bhandar Grih Scheme, Soil Health Card, Grant under Scheduled Caste-Tribe Atrocities Act, Compassionate Based Planning Letter, Chief Minister Rural Housing Scheme, Chief Minister Disabled Marriage Scheme. Provided token checks and acceptance letters to the beneficiaries selected under Inter-caste Marriage Incentive Grant Scheme etc. The Chief Minister distributed the settlement form among the beneficiaries of Abhiyan Basera-2.

The Chief Minister inaugurated by unveiling the foundation stone of the newly constructed two lane ROB cum access road of National Highway No. 327A in Saraigarh at a cost of Rs 2990 lakh. Construction of high level bridge including newly constructed approach road in Bairia Manch-Mungrar road under Supaul district at a cost of Rs 3911.34 lakh, widening and strengthening work of Veerpur-Basmatiya road at a cost of Rs 1438.80 lakh, NH-327A at a cost of Rs 1302.20 lakh. Inaugurated by unveiling the foundation stone of road widening and strengthening work from Parasharma Road to Chayan Singh Patti via BSS College and widening and strengthening work of NH-327E to Mohania PWD path Bhaya Maricha, Jagatpur and Kataiya Tola path at a cost of Rs 2639.75 lakh. . During this, the Chief Minister said that many roads have been inaugurated today. With the construction of these roads, people will get more convenience in transportation. The Chief Minister inaugurated a total of 2 police buildings including the newly constructed model police station building Bhaptiyahi in Supaul district at a cost of Rs 6.82 crore and unveiled the foundation stone of 200 women constable barracks and 6 police station buildings constructed at a cost of Rs 24.26 crore and laid the foundation stone. After the inauguration, the Chief Minister also inspected the newly constructed police station buildings.
