Patna, 30 October (HS). Chief Minister Nitish Kumar today inaugurated 38 highway patrol vehicles to strengthen road safety and uninterrupted traffic system. On this occasion, the Chief Minister flagged off 38 highway patrol vehicles.
The Chief Minister inspected the Highway Patrol vehicles before their inauguration and took information from the officials regarding their functioning. These National Highway Patrol vehicles have been linked to Dial-112 of the Emergency Response Support System so that in case of emergency, these vehicles can be called. Can be sent to the spot immediately. Also, for effective action, a provision has been made for centralized solution from the vehicle or control room through the equipment installed on it. At the beginning of the program, Director General of Police Alok Raj welcomed the Chief Minister by presenting him a green sapling.
On this occasion, Water Resources Minister Vijay Kumar Chaudhary, Principal Secretary to the Chief Minister Deepak Kumar, Development Commissioner Pratyaya Amrit, Director General of Police Alok Raj and other senior officials were present.
