Ranchi, September 2 (HS). On Monday, Chief Minister Hemant Soren ordered an inquiry into the continuous deaths of candidates in the physical efficiency test for excise constable recruitment in Jharkhand. DGP Anurag Gupta has confirmed this. The DGP has described the cases of death of candidates during the race as very unfortunate.
He said that the Chief Minister has directed him to conduct a thorough investigation into the matter. DGP Anurag Gupta said that we have registered UD cases in all the cases and post-mortems are being conducted. We are trying to find out whether the candidates died due to some disease or due to some deficiency in the system, or whether any candidate consumed something due to which this incident happened to him.
DGP Anurag Gupta praised the arrangements at the recruitment centers. He said that all the necessary facilities have been arranged. He said that drinking water, toilets, doctors, nurses, ORS and necessary medicines have been arranged at the center. He said that the recruitment process is going on with complete transparency.
