Ranchi, September 3 (HS). Chief Minister Hemant Soren inaugurated the New Jharkhand Bhawan in Connaught Place, Delhi on Tuesday. The new building located at Bangla Sahib Road has been constructed by the Building Construction Department of the State Government.
On this occasion, Chief Minister Hemant Soren said that this building was awaited for a long time. Today its inauguration is a matter of pride for us. In our new building, special attention has been given to new state-of-the-art technology, including special facilities of gym, dining hall, conference hall and parking. The building is equipped with special technology. Special attention has also been given to rain water harvesting and energy efficiency in it. Being located in Connaught Place and proximity to railway, bus stop, metro, hospital etc. makes it even more impressive. Its opening will make it easier for the residents of Jharkhand. This building will present a reflection of the state government and its efforts in the country's capital in the future.

What is special in Jharkhand Bhawan?
Jharkhand Bhawan is a seven-storey building. 50 guest rooms have been built here for the guests to stay. Separate suites have been built for the Governor, Chief Minister, Chief Justice, Chief Secretary. Special rooms have been built for VVIPs. The building has been given a modern look. The interiors are also spectacular. On January 18, 2016, the then Chief Minister and currently the Governor of Odisha Raghuvar Das along with the then Governor of Jharkhand and currently the President of the country Draupadi Murmu performed the Bhoomi Pujan of Jharkhand Bhawan.
