Chief Minister gave many gifts to Kaimur, inaugurated Maa Mundeshwari Wildlife Eco Park | News India

Patna, 18 September (HS). Chief Minister Nitish Kumar gave many gifts to Kaimur district on Wednesday. He unveiled and inaugurated the Maa Mundeshwari Wildlife Eco Park under Bhagwanpur block in the district. The Chief Minister also inspected the newly built Eco Park from an electronic auto rickshaw.

The Department of Environment, Forest and Climate Change has constructed the Maa Mundeshwari Wildlife Eco Park at the bottom of Paura hill at a cost of Rs 10.4 crore. This park is spread over 13.6 acres. Statues of various wild animals have been installed in this park, tree support, scaffolding, bridge, renovation of Buddha Sarovar, open air theatre, gazebo, fountains, waterfalls, lights etc. have been installed here. The open theatre has a seating arrangement for 300-400 people at a time. Automatic sprinklers have been installed in the entire park, so that the entire park can be irrigated and greenery can be maintained. Maa Mundeshwari Wildlife Eco Park is adorned with lush green trees and beautiful gardens. This park will be a center of attraction for tourists.

The Chief Minister also inaugurated the tourist facilities at Telhar Kund waterfall through remote from Maa Mundeshwari Wildlife Eco Park itself. This waterfall is located at a distance of 30 kilometers from Bhabua. The waterfall here falls from a height of about 500-600 feet, which is very captivating to look at and attracts tourists. Keeping in mind the convenience of tourists, the Department of Environment, Forest and Climate Change has constructed tourist facilities like access path, entrance gate, security railing, gazebo, parking, barracks, toilets, view point etc. at Telhar Kund, the deepest waterfall of Bihar, at a cost of Rs 2.25 crore.

After this, the Chief Minister prayed at Maa Mundeshwari Temple and prayed for the happiness, peace and prosperity of the state. Mundeshwari Temple is situated on top of Paura Hill in Kaimur district. This temple was built around 108 AD. This temple is considered to be one of the oldest temples in India.

The Chief Minister unveiled and laid the foundation stone of a total of 11 police buildings to be constructed in Kaimur district at a cost of Rs 4.18 crore. The Chief Minister also inaugurated the work by unveiling the plaque of the drinking water supply scheme for Bhabua and Mohania cities. During this, the Chief Minister instructed the officials to prepare an action plan keeping in mind that the maximum number of people should benefit from this scheme.

During the program, the Chief Minister visited the stalls set up by various departments. During the visit, the Chief Minister handed over the acceptance letters of Student Credit Card Scheme and Integrated Poultry Development Scheme and the keys of Mukhyamantri Block Parivahan Yojana to the beneficiaries.
