Mumbai, July 17 (HS). Chief Minister Eknath Shinde on Wednesday announced the launch of the Chief Minister Ladla Bhai Yojana for unemployed youth in Maharashtra. This scheme will be implemented for the youth of the state between the age of 18 to 35 years on the lines of the Chief Minister Ladli Behan Yojana. Rs 5,500 crore will be spent on this scheme.
Chief Minister Eknath Shinde said, “Under this scheme, those who pass class 12 will be given Rs 6000, those with ITI and Diploma will be given Rs 8000 and those with graduation degree will be given Rs 12000 per month.”
It is noteworthy that the state's Finance Minister Ajit Pawar had announced the Chief Minister Ladli Behan Yojana in the budget. At that time, former Chief Minister and Shiv Sena (UBT) chief Uddhav Thackeray had supported the Ladli Behan Yojana and said that the Chief Minister Ladla Bhai Yojana should also be started for the unemployed youth of the state. CM Eknath Shinde said that many people had made such a demand, that is why he has announced this scheme. The unemployed youth of the state will be able to get its benefits.
