Dehradun, July 10 (HS). Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami on Wednesday laid the foundation stone of Kedarnath temple by performing Bhoomi Pujan in Hiranki (Buradi), Delhi. During this, Chief Minister Dhami said that this temple will strengthen the faith of Shiva devotees and Sanatan culture.
Chief Minister Dhami said that the construction of Baba Kedarnath's temple in Delhi will fulfill the wishes of all Shiva devotees. Burari area is mentioned in our mythological texts. This area is also related to the Mahabharata period. Baba Kedarnath ji's Dham, the original representative of Uttarakhand and Sanatan culture in the holy land of Burari, will become a modern symbol of our culture and faith. He said that this temple will work to connect faith to life, man to Mahadev, society to spirituality and the present generation to ancient culture.
Dhami said that under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the flag of Sanatan culture is spreading all over the world. Under the able leadership of the Prime Minister, Mahakal Lok was built in Ujjain, the grand Kashi corridor was built, and the Lord Shri Ram temple was built in Ayodhya. Apart from this, the reconstruction work of Kedarnath and Badrinath is going on. He said that this period is the period of revival of the Sanatan culture of India. Today, guests coming from abroad are welcomed by presenting Shrimad Bhagwat Geeta.
The Chief Minister said that this time Yoga Day was organized at Adi Kailash, the purpose of which was to make the holy places of our state like Kedarnath Dham, Adi Kailash reach the masses. He said that today the whole world has accepted yoga. Chief Minister Dhami said that the state government is continuously working for the upliftment of Sanatan culture. The number of devotees visiting Chardham is increasing continuously every year. Along with the four Dhams, other religious places are also being developed rapidly. The state government is determined for the smooth conduct of the Char Dham Yatra. The development work of the mythological temples of Kumaon region is going on under the Manaskhand Yatra. Preparations are also being completed by the state government for the upcoming Kavad Mela. He said that along with reading the lessons of Sanatan culture, devotion and faith, it also creates a sense of kindness, compassion, humanity and national service within us. He said that the Kedarnath temple being built in Burari area will serve to inspire the entire humanity.
On this occasion, Union Minister of State for Road Transport and Highways Ajay Tamta, Mahamandaleshwar Kailashanand Giri Ji Maharaj, Swami Rajendrananda, Gopal Mani Maharaj, MLA Mahesh Jina, MLA Dr. Pramod Nainwal, MLA Sandeep Jha and others were present.
