Chief Minister Champai gave instructions to speed up the construction work of Kantatoli flyover

Ranchi, March 9 (HS). Chief Minister Champai Soren on Saturday held a high-level meeting with JUDCO officials and representatives of the construction company regarding the progress of the Kantatoli flyover being built in the capital Ranchi. He directed the concerned officials to expedite its construction work. The Chief Minister told the JUDCO officials that there has already been a lot of delay in the construction of this flyover. In such a situation, there should be no further delay. Therefore, all necessary steps should be taken to speed up the work.

Give progress report of flyover construction work every week

The Chief Minister also asked the officials to submit the progress report of the ongoing construction work of Kantatoli flyover every week, so that it can be reviewed in detail. This will also facilitate monitoring of works and necessary instructions can also be given if needed. He said that this flyover is very important for the traffic system of the capital Ranchi. With its implementation, traffic jams will be relieved.

Assured to complete construction by August this year

JUDCO officials told the Chief Minister that the construction work of Kantatoli flyover has been expedited and its construction will be completed by August this year. He told the Chief Minister that due to delay in land acquisition and utility shifting, the construction work of Kanta Toli flyover was affected but now the construction work is going on at a fast pace and it will be handed over by August.

The Chief Minister had inspected the flyover on March 6.

On March 6, the Chief Minister had inspected the ongoing construction work of Kantatoli and Sirmatoli Flower. During this time, he had instructed the concerned officials to speed up its construction work. He had also said that the traffic system should be maintained smoothly during its construction, so that the common people do not have to face problems in commuting.

Chief Minister's Secretary cum Managing Director JUDCO Arwa Rajkamal along with officials of JUDCO and representatives of the construction company carrying out the construction work were present in the meeting.
