Chief Minister appealed not to pay attention to rumors

Ranchi, 17 April (HS). Chief Minister Champai Soren on Wednesday appealed to the people on social media to pay attention to the rumors going on in the social media regarding bricks and stones being seen on the roofs of some houses in Hindpiri, Lake Road and Main Road of Ranchi.

Issuing a post on Twitter, the Chief Minister has said that do not spread rumors about bricks and stones being found on the roof, the owners of the houses on the roof of which this material was found come from different communities. The Chief Minister said that some media organizations are running misleading news regarding this, which should be stopped. He has directed Jharkhand Police to take appropriate action against those spreading such rumours.

The Chief Minister said that since Tuesday, some social media handles are spreading misleading news about the presence of bricks, stones etc. on the roofs of some houses in Ranchi's Hindpiri. Ranchi Police has clarified that during routine checking, construction material was found on the roofs of 10-11 houses, which has been removed. Some of these houses are recently built while some are still under construction. The police have also clarified that the owners of these houses come from different communities. Do not pay attention to such rumours.

It is noteworthy that on April 15, the district administration had inspected the roofs of all the houses on the Ram Navami procession route with drones. During this time, bricks and stones were seen on the roofs of some houses in Lake Road, Hindpiri and Main Road. It was ordered to be removed immediately by the district administration.
