Ram Mandir Rath Yatra will start from Chicago on Monday. The yatra will cover more than eight thousand miles in the next 60 days and visit 851 temples in 48 states. Amitabh Mittal, US general secretary of Vishwa Hindu Parishad, which organized the Rath Yatra, said the chariot built on a Toyota Sienna van will have idols of Lord Ram, Goddess Sita, Lakshman and Hanuman. Special Prasad and Pran Pratishtha, Pooja Akshat's Kalash will be taken with him from the Ram temple of Ayodhya.

The Rath Yatra will start from Chicago, America on March 25 and will cover a distance of about eight miles. 851 temples in the US and 150 temples in Canada will be covered during the yatra. The Rath Yatra in Canada is organized by the Vishwa Hindu Parishad of Canada.
Tejal Shah of Hindu Temple Empowerment Council (HMEC) said the aim of the Rath Yatra is to make people aware, educated and empowered about Hinduism. This yatra is giving an opportunity to all Hindus to unite. He further said that it is very important for us and our future generations to unite in the campaign to awaken and spread Hinduism across the world.
Which will conclude on the day of Hanuman Jayanti
Vishwa Hindu Parishad of America General Secretary Amitabh Mittal said that many people have come forward to help in planning and organizing this yatra through VHPA. For the first time in America, such a yatra has been organized by the Hindu community.
The yatra is going to end on 23rd April on the day of Hanuman Jayanti. During the Rath Yatra, not only big temples but also small temples will be covered. Tejal Shah said that he will visit almost all the temples of America. We appreciate everyone who participated in this journey.
