The name of Raipur from India is also included in the 100 cities that have been selected.
Mayor Ejaz Dhebar said that soon Russian experts will reach the capital Raipur. This work will be done in a joint venture. Dhebar said that first the team will come to Raipur and inspect the city. It will also give suggestions regarding the operation of electric city buses. In which modern battery-operated trains with a capacity of 1068 passengers have been planned for a period of 30 years. After continuous efforts in the years 2021, 2022 and 2023, now this MoU has been done.
Mayor Ejaz Dhebar further said that the Russian team will also see Raipur's Sky-Walk. If a light metro can be run in it, then this will also be considered. He said that Moscow's Transport Minister and Moscow's Mayor have signed an MOU on four points. This will be a big achievement for Raipur city.
