Raipur, 20 September (HS). The 19th Scout Guide Jamboree will be organized in Chhattisgarh in the year 2025. Preparations have begun in the state for this event. Chief Minister Vishnudev Sai has given approval for this event. More than 35 thousand scouts and guides of the country and teams of scouts and guides from 125 countries of the world will participate in it. Raipur MP Brijmohan Agarwal gave this information in a press conference at Raipur Press Club on Friday.
Raipur MP Brijmohan Agarwal said that Chhattisgarh will have a distinct identity through the Scout Guide Jamboree. People will get information about the culture, thoughts, behaviour and food here. Through this, new children and youth of Chhattisgarh will join the Scout Guide. This will instill a sense of service, security, cooperation and nationalism in them. This Jamboree will prove useful for all of us.
Raipur MP Brijmohan Agarwal said that the Scout Guide Jamboree will be organized for seven days. The entire program will be of 9 to 10 days. Its national patron is the President. The state patrons are the Chief Minister and the Governor. The Jamboree was held in Chhattisgarh in the year 2002. After 22-23 years, Chhattisgarh has again got this opportunity, to which the state government has given its consent.
Brijmohan Agrawal said that, along with the Girls Jamboree, there will be a Tribal Jamboree in which 25 percent of the children from across the country will be from the tribe. Children from Chhattisgarh will also participate. There will also be an exchange of tribal culture. Friendship among people will increase. Work will be done to help each other.
