According to the information received, the woman caught red-handed taking bribe is Babli tribal, Sarpanch of Ramtoria village of Badamalhara area. Babli had sanctioned the well of Kapildhara in the name of the grandfather of Mahendra Pratap Lodhi of the same village. In which a well has been dug. A bill of Rs 2 lakh 87 thousand was to be passed. Babli asked for a bribe of Rs 15 thousand from Mahendra. Mahendra had complained about this to Sagar Lokayukta. On Saturday, Sagar Lokayukta team caught Sarpanch Babli and her husband Sunil Adivasi red handed while taking bribe and arrested them. Lokayukta Inspector Roshni Jain said that a 7-member team reached the spot and caught the woman sarpanch and her husband taking bribe. Who have been arrested.
