Chhatarpur, 20 August (HS). 7 people have died and 6 people are injured in an accident between an auto and a truck on Khajuraho Jhansi four lane. They are being treated at the District Hospital Chhatarpur. Out of which 4 seriously injured have been referred to Gwalior. All the people are residents of Uttar Pradesh. Collector Parth Jaiswal reached the district hospital and enquired about the condition of the injured and instructed the doctor to provide better treatment and monitoring. Collector Parth Jaiswal immediately approved a financial assistance of Rs. 15,000 each to the heirs of the deceased in the road accident and Rs. 7.5 thousand per person to the injured as per rules. A total of 13 people have been affected in the road accident. 7 deceased in the accident are Lalu Srivastava father Rajkumar, Govind Srivastava father Rajkumar, Manu Srivastava husband Lalu, Nanhi Srivastava wife Rajkumar, all four residents of Ikamganj district Farrukhabad UP, Janardan Yadav father Kamta, Miss Ashvi daughter Janardan both residents of Minister residence Gomti Nagar Lucknow UP. And Premnarayan Kushwaha father Gorelal resident of village Silauli police station Maudaha district Hamirpur U.P. Along with this 6 injured Anshika alias daughter of Janardan, Anushka daughter of Janardan, Sangeeta wife of Janardan Yadav all three residents of Minister's residence Gomti Nagar Lucknow U.P., Monu Shrivastav father Ramsanehi resident of Shahjahanpur U.P. and Harish son of Vinod Yadav, Ramsanehi son of Ram Yadav resident of district Balrampur U.P.
It is noteworthy that a horrific road accident occurred on Jhansi Khajuraho four lane NH-39 highway at 5 am on Tuesday. Seven people died on the spot and five others were seriously injured in the incident. The devotees travelling in the taxi were going to visit Bageshwar Dham, when the taxi driver carelessly hit the truck from behind. In this regard, the police said that in the road accident, a family from Lucknow was going to get the tonsure ceremony of a one-year-old innocent child done, he along with the father also died. The entire family has been devastated in this horrific road accident. Apart from the husband and one-year-old daughter of Sangeeta Yadav of Lucknow, the other two daughters are seriously injured, who are undergoing treatment in the district hospital. Chhatarpur Superintendent of Police Agam Jain reached the spot near the four lane near Kadari village of Civil Line police station area of Chhatarpur. The incident took place near village Kadari at 5 am. The district administration has admitted all the victims to the District Hospital Chhatarpur with the help of 108.
