In the free eye testing camp organized by Nagar Aggarwal Samaj and Aggarwal Youth Club on Friday in the memory of Shakuntala Devi Aggarwal, wife of late Siyaram Sharan Aggarwal, her sons Girish, Satish and Manish Aggarwal in collaboration with tobacco sellers, at Mata Mahalaxmi Temple located outside Sarani Gate in the city. Eyes of 110 patients were examined, out of which 7 patients were taken to Chitrakoot for lens transplantation due to cataract.
Ramkishore Agarwal, media in-charge of District Agarwal Society, said that in the free eye examination camp organized in the Siddhapeeth Mata Mahalaxmi Temple premises of the city, by the team of specialist doctors Dr. Nayan Dwivedi, Dr. Chahat Jain, Omkar Yadav and Manish Yadav of Sadguru Eye Hospital, Chitrakoot. Free eye examination was done for the patients suffering from eye diseases and spectacles and medicines were also distributed to them. After testing, 7 patients suffering from cataract were identified and taken to Chitrakoot for operation in their own vehicle immediately after the camp. After the operation, the patients will be brought from Chitrakoot to Chhatarpur free of cost and dropped at their homes. There will be free arrangements for going and coming back and staying. Khichdi Prasad and food were also provided to the patients free of cost in the camp.
Camp associate Girish Aggarwal, a tobacco dealer, supported the patients by being present with his family. On this occasion, Agarwal Samaj District President Prabhat Agarwal, former District President Umashankar Agarwal, City President Manish Agarwal, Youth Club President Shivam Sanu, Mukesh Mamma, Anand Agarwal Golu, Abhishek Agarwal, Rohit Agarwal and a large number of Agar brothers were present and provided support. .
