How to check UPSC Mains Result 2024..?
UPSC 2024 candidates who appeared for the Civil Services Main Examination need to follow the steps given below to download the result.
– Step 1: Visit the official website of UPSC upsc.gov.in.
– Step 2: Click on UPSC Mains Result 2024 link on the main page of the website ,
– Step 3: The user will be directed to a new PDF file where candidates can check the result by their roll number.
– Step 4: Save and download the file. Take a printout and keep a hard copy with you for future reference.
Also, apart from the results, cutoff marks, merit list and other details are also available on the official website. Candidates who qualify the main examination will be eligible to appear in the next round which will be conducted in the next month i.e. January 2025. The next round is of personal interview.
The central government started registration for this recruitment drive on 14 February. And ended on 5 March. After this the prelims exam was held on 16 June and the result was declared on 1 July. This recruitment process is going on to appoint eligible candidates on 1,056 vacancies.
Central Public Service Commission had conducted the Civil Services Main Examination on 20, 21, 22, 28 and 29 September this year. The three-hour exam was conducted in two shifts – first shift from 9:00 am to 12:00 noon and second shift from 2:30 pm to 5:30 pm.
