Cheating of Rs 15 lakh on the pretext of sending them to Singapore, case registered against six

Uchana police station has registered a case against six people under various sections including fraud for extorting Rs 15 lakh from two youth on the pretext of first sending them to Singapore on work visa and later to Canada. The police is investigating the matter

On Friday, Jaswinder and Ankit, residents of village Durjanpur, gave a complaint to the police that Ankit's brother was working in Singapore for the last two years. Sumit had told about the agent Zora Singh who sent him to Singapore. Upon contacting, Zora talked about sending them to Singapore on a work visa for the first two years and later sending both of them to Canada. After everything was settled, Rs 15 lakh was deposited in the accounts given by the accused.

Despite this he was not sent to Singapore. When the accused was asked to return the amount, the accused refused to return the amount. On the complaint of Jaswinder and Ankit, Uchana police station has registered a case against agent Zora Singh, his associate Mohit Hooda, Suman, Somdutt, Manikant Tyagi, Tushar Tyagi under various sections including fraud and started investigation.
