Uttar Pradesh Education Service Selection Commission (UPESSC) has changed the dates of Assistant Professor, TGT and PGT recruitment examination. This decision has been taken after considering the requests of Mahakumbh 2025 and the candidates.
Assistant Professor Recruitment Exam: The written examination of Assistant Professor will now be conducted on 16 and 17 April 2025. Earlier this examination was scheduled to be held on 16 and 17 February 2025, but it has been postponed for the third time. For this recruitment, 1.14 lakh youth have applied for 1017 posts in non-government aided colleges of the state. The examination will be conducted in the divisional headquarters of Prayagraj, Gorakhpur, Varanasi, Lucknow, Meerut and Agra.
TGT and PGT Recruitment Exam:
- TGT (Trained Graduate Teacher): The written examination for 3539 posts will now be held on 14 and 15 May 2025.
- PGT (Spokesperson): The examination for 624 posts will be conducted on 20 and 21 June 2025.
Earlier these examinations were proposed to be held on 11th and 12th April 2025, but now these dates have been changed. A total of 13,33,136 candidates have applied for TGT-PGT recruitment.
Formation of Educational Service Commission: After applying for these posts, the Higher Education Service Selection Commission (UPHESC) and Secondary Education Selection Board (UPSESSB) have now been formed by dissolving the Education Service Selection Commission.
