What is the price of gold on July 12?
On Friday, July 12, gold for August 5 delivery was trading at an intra-day low of Rs 73,173, down by Rs 138, while gold for October 4 delivery was trending at Rs 73,608 per 10 gram after falling by Rs 113.
Silver prices fell
Apart from gold, the price of silver also declined on Friday. On MCX, silver for September 5 delivery on July 12 was trading at Rs 93,622 per kg, down by Rs 568, while silver for December 5 futures delivery was trading at Rs 96,386 per kg, down by Rs 472.
Earlier on July 11, silver for September 5 delivery closed at Rs 94,190 per kg on MCX. While silver for December 5 delivery closed at Rs 96,858 per kg.
Investors' inclination towards Gold ETF
It is worth noting that due to the fluctuations in the stock market in the last few months, investors' inclination has increased towards Gold ETF. For the second consecutive month, more than Rs 700 crore has been invested in Gold ETF. In June, the total investment in Gold ETF was recorded at Rs 726.16 crore. While Rs 827.43 crore was invested in May, Rs 395.69 crore was withdrawn in April.
