National Testing Agency (NTA) has changed the pattern of CUET PG 2025 exam. This time the duration of the examination has been reduced to 90 minutes.
- Last year: The exam was of 105 minutes.
- This year: The exam will be of total duration 90 minutes (1.5 hours).
- Candidates will be given this time to answer 75 multiple choice questions.
- There will be a total of 157 subject options in the exam, out of which candidates can choose the subject of their choice.
Exam Pattern and Paper Code Selection
- Paper Codes:
- Candidates can select four paper codes at the time of examination.
- It will be mandatory to select these codes during registration.
- Language Options:
- The comprehension section will be in English or Hindi, depending on the candidate’s preference.
- Marking Scheme:
- Correct answer: 4 points.
- Wrong answer: Deduction of 1 mark.
Application Process and Important Dates
The application process for CUET PG 2025 has started.

(Last year’s website pgcuet.samarth.ac.in is no longer available.) - Last date of application: 1 February 2025.
- Correction Window: 3 to 5 February 2025.
- Declaration of examination centres: First week of March.
- Admit Card: Four days before the examination.
- Exam Dates: March 13 to March 31, 2025.
Increase in application fee
This time the application fee for all categories has been increased by Rs 200.
- General Category: ₹1,400.
- OBC-NCL/Gen-EWS: ₹1,200.
- SC/ST/Third Gender: ₹1,100.
- Disabled candidates: ₹1,000.
- Additional Test Paper: Additional fee of ₹600 per paper.
Selection of number of examination centers and cities
- This year the number of examination centers has been reduced to 285 (last year it was 300).
- Candidates can choose four preferred cities based on their permanent or current address. (Last year there were only two options.)
