Meerut, 28 February (HS). Kunwar Shekhar Vijendra, Chancellor of Shobhit University, Meerut and Chairman of ASSOCHAM National Education Council, chaired the Indian delegation at the Select Industry Roundtable organized by ASSOCHAM in partnership with Australia India Business Council, held in Delhi. During this period many major issues were discussed.
In this round table talks, key topics like education, energy, pharma, agricultural technology, capacity building and digital economy were discussed between the two countries and the basis for future cooperation was discussed. Kunwar Shekhar Vijendra, representing the ASSOCHAM National Education Council, spoke about India's educational strengths and Australia's renowned educational infrastructure and stressed the need to utilize the research being conducted by Indian universities for industrial development.
The Australian delegation included Catherine Gallagher, Head of South Asia Austrade, Jody Mackay, Director of the Australia-India CEO Forum and Ravneet Pavaha from Deakin University. Dr. Madhu Chitkara, Pro-Chancellor of Chitkara University from ASSOCHAM National Education Council, Dr. Rajita Kulkarni, Chairperson of Sri Sri University also participated in the talks. Assocham's Assistant General Secretary Neeraj Arora and International Wing Director Neeraj Joshi had special contribution in organizing this round table.
