West Champaran (Bagaha), 03 October (HS). Dr. Jwala Prasad, son of farmer Harimadhav Prasad of Kathaiya Vishunpura village of Jagdishpur police station, was honored with the Mahatma Gandhi Leadership Award at Oxford University, London on the occasion of Gandhi Jayanti.

On this occasion, dignitaries from about 50 countries including the Mayor of London, Miss World of Colombia, Judge of Australia, Tourism Minister of Seychelles, Mayor of Oxford were present.
