Chief Minister Champai Soren on Tuesday reviewed the latest work progress of the Tourism, Art-Culture, Sports and Youth Affairs Department at a high level in the presence of officials at the Jharkhand Ministry. During this, the Chief Minister gave many important guidelines to the officials. In the meeting, the Chief Minister said that the natural beauty in Jharkhand is unmatched. There are many important religious places of different communities and a unique blend of different art and culture here.

The Chief Minister directed the officials to develop Luguburu and Marangburu, the places of faith and belief of the tribal followers, as a better tourist destination as soon as possible. The officials of the Tourism Department should prepare a better DPR for this purpose as soon as possible and initiate further action.

The Chief Minister instructed the officials that complete development of the Pahari Mandir complex in Ranchi is necessary. Pahari Mandir is a big religious place of faith and belief. A proposal to build a ropeway in Pahari Mandir was prepared by the state government. Feasibility verification was also done for this. Officials should get the feasibility report soon and start further action. Ensure that work on the road that has been prepared for the development of Pahari Mandir starts as soon as possible.

There are many possibilities in the field of various tourism including religious and spiritual

The Chief Minister said that we will have to move forward by making a better action plan on what we need to do to bring Jharkhand's tourism and religious places on the world map. He said that the state has many possibilities in various tourism fields including religious and spiritual. Keeping in view these multidimensional tourism possibilities, it is very important to develop them. The state government is trying to ensure that all the tourists who visit Jharkhand go back home with a better experience so that Jharkhand can have a distinct identity in the country and the world in the field of tourism.

In the meeting, the Chief Minister told the officials to prepare the DPR as soon as possible so that Rajrappa located in Ramgarh district can be developed as an excellent religious tourist destination and the officials should also make an action plan on what new can be done in Rajrappa.

Speed ​​up the renovation of Hundru Falls and construction of guest house

The Chief Minister said that the renovation of Hundru Falls and the construction of the guest house there should be expedited. He said that there should be no laxity in the work progress of all the tourist sites identified by the department which are to be developed, rather all the work should be completed on time by working at a fast pace. If needed, study the tourism places of other states to develop the tourism and religious places of the state. Only when all the identified tourist places of the state are developed, the cultural pride of the state will increase and the economy will also be strong.

Develop the Sarna religious places of the state with commitment

In the meeting, the Chief Minister also stressed on the development of Sarna religious places in the state. He directed to develop Serengadaghati (Kolhan) as a tourist place. He also said that under the Chief Minister's Tirtha Darshan Yojana, it should be ensured that the tribal religious followers visit the Sarna place. Develop the Sido Kanhu statue place located in Bhognadih and the Ulihatu Shaheed place on priority. All these places are important heritage of Jharkhand. Preserving these places is the priority of the state government.

Speed ​​up the work of formation and registration of Sido Kanhu Youth Sports Club

The Chief Minister directed the officials to speed up the formation and registration work of Sido Kanhu Yuva Khel Club. The officials informed the Chief Minister that so far 27,248 Sido Kanhu Yuva Khel Clubs have been formed in the state, in which more than 11,000 clubs have been registered. Now the registration work will also be done through cooperatives, which will speed up the work. The Chief Minister told the officials that there is a need to move ahead with the aim of achieving the set target by simplifying the formation and registration work of Sido Kanhu Yuva Khel Club.

The sports village should be maintained at all costs

The Chief Minister directed the officials to ensure the maintenance of the sports village in Ranchi at all costs. He said that it is the priority of the state government to fulfill the purpose for which the sports village was built. It should be ensured that various sports competitions are organized in the sports village. The Chief Minister has directed the officials to start the construction work of Adityapur-1, football ground, Ramchandrapur football ground and Adityapur-2, Pragati ground soon.

On this occasion, the officers discussed in detail about many important sports schemes in the state in front of the Chief Minister. During this, many important points including residential sports training center, day-boarding sports training center, operation of center of excellence, establishment of high performing center for various sports disciplines and important sports schemes to be taken in the current financial year were discussed in detail. The Chief Minister also gave many important guidelines to the officials in this regard.
