Jaunpur, 04 November (HS). Traffic During the month of November, on Monday, the traffic police issued challans to 1285 vehicles while making people aware about the traffic rules.
Traffic in-charge Inspector GD Shukla said that under the direction of Superintendent of Police Dr. Ajay Pal Sharma, during the traffic month of November, drivers and conductors of auto rickshaws, e-rickshaws and buses were gathered at the Polytechnic intersection of the city and made aware about the traffic rules. And in the enforcement proceedings, challan was issued against 1285 vehicles. Also, the vehicles parked on the road which caused accidents and created jams were removed while warning their owners not to do so in future. Action was taken as per rules against the vehicles not removed.
Awareness was created about traffic rules by making announcements through loudspeakers. Awareness was created about wearing helmets and seat belts while driving, not allowing three passengers in a motorcycle, not driving high speed vehicles and not applying black film on the glass mirrors of vehicles and thus reducing the accidents occurring due to them.
