Faridabad, March 24 (HS). Taking into account the road accidents occurring due to violation of lane change rules, challans were issued to 823 drivers who violated lane change rules. A fine of Rs 411500 was collected from them. DCP Traffic Usha said on Sunday that in order to reduce the accidents occurring during road traffic, Faridabad Traffic Police is from time to time informing people through video vans as part of awareness campaign at public places like schools, colleges, parks, hospitals etc. Is making people aware.
Vehicles moving in traffic should drive only in the designated lines. Use indicators while overtaking and taking sides. So that the traffic can flow smoothly for all the drivers. Those vehicles which do not travel in the prescribed line are fined by issuing challan. It is often seen on the road that some drivers stop the vehicle on the side without giving indicators, due to which the vehicle coming behind does not know anything and the possibility of an accident increases. Also, the chances of an accident increases if drivers violate other traffic rules. To reduce road accidents, Faridabad Police appeals to people to follow traffic rules and reach their destination safely and cooperate with others in reaching their destination safely.
