He told that thousands of people come to Chhath Ghat, Laxman Fair Ground, Gomti Beach, Lucknow for the last 10 years to perform Chaiti Chhath Puja. This year Chhath Puja will not be possible at Laxman Ghat. You may have to celebrate Chaiti Chhathmaha festival this year in your homes or by building a temporary artificial pond. He said that for this, talks are going on with the Municipal Corporation Administration to build an artificial pond. He demanded from the administration that for the occasion of Chaiti Chhath festival, arrangements should be made for water in the Gomti River, so that Chhath Vratis can offer Arghya to the Sun God.
