On Monday, on the eve of the Raj Bhavan march to be held on December 10 against the human rights violations of the minority community and Hindus in Bangladesh, Binod Gadyan of Chinmaya Mission expressed anger and concern and said that the Bangladesh government should stop this atrocities without any delay.
In a press conference organized at Hotel Green Horizon on Ranchi Station Road under the aegis of Sarva Sanatan Samaj of Jharkhand, Gadyan said that now the Hindu society has woken up and its example will be seen on December 10, Human Rights Day. When people of Hindu, Sikh and Buddhist communities around the world will take to the streets to protest against the atrocities happening in Bangladesh. Will also serve as a warning to the Bangladesh government.
He said that even in Ranchi, the capital of Jharkhand, all the people who are concerned about the religion of Hindu, Sikh, Buddhist, Jainism and minorities of Bangladesh should raise their voice for the country and Bangladesh by taking out a protest march from Morhabadi to Raj Bhavan on 10th December. Will gather to give a message to the Prime Ministers. Will also submit a memorandum to the Governor. He said that the Central Government should strictly implement its Constitution in Bangladesh.
Gadyan expressed protest against the arrest of ISKCON Foundation saint Chinmoy Das on the charge of being a traitor. He said that Article 2A of the Constitution of Bangladesh states that although we are a Muslim nation, we are determined to protect all other religions including Hindu, Buddhist, Sikh and Christian. Still, the way the human rights of the minorities are being violated today and the United Nations is silent is a matter of concern.
On the occasion, Swami Divyanand Maharaj, Vice President of All India Sant Samaj Committee, expressed his anger and said that the atrocities against Hindus in Bangladesh should be stopped. He said that the country’s government also condemned it in plain and simple words and said that the Bangladesh government should protect the human rights of the people of minority community. Also said that the Union Foreign Secretary has gone to Bangladesh with 20 representatives. This delegation will hold talks with the government there, in which it will convey the concerns and demands of the Indian government. He said that this is an opportunity for people all over the world to wake up. It is not enough to just observe Human Rights Day, but it should also be implemented properly.
Swami Purnanand, head of Chinmaya Mission, said that Bangladesh should not forget that India is your mother country. If India gets angry with you then you will have to face big problems. Your financial situation may be unstable. Therefore, save your country from being a follower of Pakistan. Swetambar Jain Samaj Secretary Binod Jain Baigwani said that peace should be restored in Bangladesh soon.
Pawan Kumar Lama of Buddhist society said that brotherly love is not visible. He strongly opposed the atrocities against minorities in Bangladesh. He also demanded from the Government of India and the UN that human rights should be protected in Bangladesh. Vikramjit Singh, the main priest of Main Road Gurdwara, said that whether it is Sikhism or Hindu society, first of all we are human beings. When there is atrocities on humans, everyone gets hurt. The sooner this atrocity is stopped, the better. If it is not stopped, it may spread further. Wherever there is atrocities, the Sikh community will stand against it.
