Mumbai: The censor has cut more than seven minutes in Ajay Devgan and Kareena Kapoor's film 'Singham Again'. Some scenes based on Ramayana have also been cut in it. The makers have been asked to put a disclaimer that the film is inspired by the story of Lord Ram but its characters should not be compared with any character or deity from Ramayana. The story, its characters, customs and traditions all reflect modern society.

In a scene of the film, Ajay Devgan has been compared with Lord Ram, Kareena Kapoor with Sita Mata and Ranveer Singh with Hanumanji. The censor has asked to remove this scene.

In another scene, Singham is depicted as Shri Ram and scissors are also used on Singham while touching his feet. There is talk of removing the scene in which Ravana drags Mother Sita away. A flirting scene of Ranveer Singh has also been removed. A scene depicting the constitutional head was asked to be removed and the dialogue related to it modified. A 26 second long scene and dialogue was asked to be cut on the grounds that it could affect the country's relations with the neighboring country.

It was said that the background score of a scene in which Shiva Source was used was removed. It is being told that the scene of beheading inside the police station itself is blurry.

Arjun Kapoor in the character of Zuber has some dialogues in which Ravana is mentioned.
