Celebrate festivals in a cordial environment, administration will provide every possible support: Aniket Sachan

Khunti, April 1 (Hindustan Reporter) Peace Committee meeting was held in Khunti police station premises on Monday for the festivals of Ram Navami, Eid, Sarhul etc. to be held in April. In the meeting held under the chairmanship of Sub-Divisional Officer Aniket Sachan, Central Ram Navami Maha Committee President Jyotish Bhagat, General Secretary Jitendra Kashyap and other members gave information about various events to be organized under the aegis of Central Ram Navami Maha Committee on Ashtami, Navami and Dashami Tithi during Shri Ram Navami Mahotsav.

Along with cleanliness of the traditional route fixed for the Navami Shobha Yatra and Tuesday procession during the Shri Ram Navami festival, a demand was made for uninterrupted supply of electricity and water during the festival. It was told that the first Tuesday procession will be taken out on April 2 and the second Tuesday procession will be taken out on April 9. Ashtami Tithi is falling on the third Tuesday. Therefore, Tuesday procession will not be taken out on that day. On this demand of the members, the Sub-Divisional Officer assured appropriate action and appealed to the people to celebrate the festival in an atmosphere of mutual brotherhood and harmony. The Sub-Divisional Officer said that during the festival, do not pay attention to any kind of rumor and immediately inform the administration about it. He said that the members of the committee should also keep an eye on the anti-social elements from their level and if any untoward situation is received from anywhere, they should immediately inform the administration.

In the meeting, SDPO Varun Rajak, Circle Officer Jaya Shankhi Murmu, BDO Jyoti Kumari, Nagar Panchayat Administrator Deepriya Srishti Minj, Birhu Mukhiya Birajmani Sanga, Fudi Mukhiya Anima Kachhap, Madan Mishra, Kishore Kumar Gaunjhu, Manoj Kumar, Priyank Bhagat, Mo Meraj, Kumar Saurav, junior electrical engineer Vinod Kachhap and others were included. The meeting was conducted by police station in-charge Mohan Kumar.
