After Foreign Minister S Jaishankar, CDS Anil Chauhan has also given his reaction on the Bangladesh crisis. On the deteriorating situation in Bangladesh, he said that the world is in the most violent phase after the Second World War. He said that when we look around, we find that the world is in a period of turmoil. The global geopolitical environment is in flux.

I believe we are living through a period of major global crisis. The global security environment has changed due to two major wars. However, the wars in Libya, Syria, Yemen and Armenia have now subsided.

Why is the situation in Bangladesh worrying for India?

Bangladesh shares its border with India. India's political relations with this neighboring country have been very good so far. In such a situation, the current situation in Bangladesh is a big cause of concern for India. That is why Foreign Minister S Jaishankar commented that we are keeping an eye on the situation in Bangladesh.
