Mirzapur, 02 July (HS). Smart classes established under Samagra Shiksha were reviewed in the Collectorate Auditorium on Tuesday under the chairmanship of Chief Development Officer Vishal Kumar. He said that audio-visual education will be included in the education of children through smart classes, which will also increase attendance in schools. Along with the interest of children towards education, awareness will also increase.
In comparison to the approved smart classes in 426 primary and composite schools of the district, installation has been done in 368 schools. CDO said that training will be provided for better operation of smart class and interactive panel. One teacher from each school will be trained. After this, the trained teachers will train other teachers. It was told in the meeting that the implementing agency has not provided training to the teachers for operation of the updated smart class.
CDO instructed BSA Anil Kumar Verma to ensure that the teachers of the schools where smart class has been installed, are given training in running smart class by forming batches in the Vikas Bhavan auditorium, so that there is no hindrance in providing education to the children through smart class. During this, Finance and Accounts Officer Amit Kumar, BEO Jai Yadav, Manoj Rai, DC Ajay Srivastava etc. were present.
