Mirzapur, June 25 (HS). A meeting of the district level Udyog Bandhu was convened in the Collectorate auditorium on Tuesday evening under the chairmanship of District Magistrate in charge and Chief Development Officer Vishal Kumar. The CDO said that the applications received under the Nivesh Mitra Yojana should be sent through the Industry Department. The department should dispose of them on priority basis and send the report to the Deputy Commissioner's Industry Office on time, so that entrepreneurs do not have to wander here and there unnecessarily.

The progress of PMEGP, MYSY and OPD Carpet and Brass Scheme run by the Industry Department was reviewed, and instructions were given to dispose of them on priority basis and benefit the entrepreneurs. In the review of Nivesh Mitra, it was told that a total of 777 applications were received from April to 24 June. Out of this, 695 were approved, 27 were rejected, investigation in 19 is pending and 36 are pending at the department level within time. The Chief Development Officer directed that all the applications should be disposed of within time.

While addressing the entrepreneurs, CDO said that whatever problems you have, please inform us about them and also give your suggestions so that whatever problems you have, they can be resolved.

Sent to 45 banks as per target achieved in PMEGP

Regarding the schemes run by the Industries Department, Deputy Commissioner Industries Ashok Kumar informed that in PMEGP, against the target of 62, the amount was sent to 45 banks. In this, 29 were approved and 65.82 lakh was distributed, in MYSY, against the target of 96, the amount was sent to 17 banks, five were approved and 11.25 lakh was distributed to three and in ODOP, against the target of 52, the amount was sent to 12 banks, seven were approved and 20 lakh was distributed to one. All the concerned officials and entrepreneurs were present in the meeting, including LDM, GST and DGFT officials.
