CCTV: CCTV of Rameshwaram Cafe blast in Bengaluru surfaced, this is how the entire incident happened

9 people have been injured in the blast at Rameshwaram Cafe in Bengaluru. Now CCTV video of this incident has surfaced, in which an explosion is seen.

An explosion took place at Rameshwaram Cafe in Bengaluru on Friday afternoon. Customers were seen eating at the cafe or waiting for their orders when the explosion occurred. In the video, along with the cafe staff, customers are also seen running to save their lives.

Meanwhile, Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah termed the cafe blast as a bomb blast and confirmed that at least nine people were injured. Police told Chief Minister Siddaramaiah in his briefing that explosives were kept in a bag inside the cafe.

CM Siddaramaiah said that in the CCTV footage, a person is seen keeping a bag inside the cafe. He said that it was a low intensity IED blast. A person had left a bag in the cafe, after which the explosion occurred. According to the police, no other explosives have been recovered from the cafe.

Batteries, burnt bags and some ID cards were recovered from the blast site at the cafe. The explosion occurred in the seating area, where there was no gas cylinder. DGP said that we are waiting for the forensic report.

BJP leader Tejashwi Surya said that he spoke to Nagaraj, founder of Rameshwaram Cafe. He said the explosion was caused by a bag left by a customer. Surya said that it clearly appears to be a case of bomb blast. He said that Chief Minister Siddaramaiah should answer in this matter.
