New Delhi, Education Desk. The re-evaluation portal was to be launched by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) for post-result activities of class 12th from today i.e. June 1, 2026. However, even after passing the stipulated deadline announced by the Board, this portal has not been activated yet. Thousands of students across the country have been eyeing the website since morning, hoping for re-checking of answer sheets and verification of marks, but they are only facing technical difficulties.
‘Under Maintenance’ error appears on login, increased concern
On the official website of the board, when students and their parents are trying to login for the re-evaluation process, the message “Under Maintenance” is continuously visible on the screen. Due to the portal not being live, the concerns of those students have increased who are not satisfied with their board result marks and who have to apply for further admission in higher educational institutions or universities. Parents say that not starting the portal on time may affect the further admission process.
Possibility of crash due to sudden increase in traffic load
According to sources and technical experts, the load on the server has increased significantly due to lakhs of students from across the country simultaneously visiting the portal for re-evaluation, verification and obtaining photocopies of answer sheets. Due to this heavy traffic, a technical problem has arisen, to fix which the CBSE IT team is continuously working. However, no official statement has been issued by the Board yet regarding the exact time of full resumption of the portal.
Students should not worry, re-evaluation link will be activated soon
If we look at the past pattern of CBSE, after such technical disruptions, the board often extends the last date of application to provide relief to the students. Therefore, students and parents are being advised not to pay attention to any kind of rumors and not to panic. It is expected that this technical glitch will be resolved in the next few hours and students will be able to apply online for re-evaluation smoothly. Students should keep visiting the official website of CBSE cbse.gov.in for latest updates.
