CBSE will not release merit list
CBSE will not release the merit list and division wise marks of students for the board exam. Following the previous trend, the board will not announce the list of toppers and section of the students also. Students appearing for the CBSE board exam 2025 will have to score at least 33 percent marks to pass the exam. Candidates must qualify each subject individually and obtain 33% marks in aggregate.
No division or distinction for students
The board has not been publishing the merit list for some time. The decision is aimed at avoiding ‘unhealthy competition’ among students. The decision not to release the merit list for board results was first taken during the pandemic-induced lockdown when the results of students were prepared using the marks obtained in online examinations. This year the board will not give any division or distinction to the students.
