Guwahati (Assam), September 08 (HS). The three-day CBSE Cluster-I Basketball Championship (Boys) 2024 concluded today at Army Public School (APS) located in Narangi of the capital. Talented young basketball players from various schools participated in this championship.
On the last day of the championship, Principal of APS Narangi, Dr. Bandana Barua was present as the Chief Guest. In her address, she appreciated the sportsmanship and competitive spirit of all the participants. Prizes were awarded to the winners and runners-up in all categories.
A special segment of the ceremony was dedicated to recognize the invaluable contribution of the coaches and officials, wherein mementoes were presented. In the Under-19 boys final match, APS Narangi defeated Royal Global School and showcased their skills to emerge victorious. In the Under-17 boys final too, APS Narangi maintained their winning streak by defeating Miles Bronson Residential School, Borjhar. In the Under-14 boys final, Sainik School Goalpara defeated Royal Global School, Guwahati to win the championship title.
The three-day championship proved to be an unforgettable experience, featuring thrilling matches, intense competition and unwavering enthusiasm from players, coaches and officials.
