CBSE CTET December 2024 Exam Date: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has once again extended the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET 2024) exam date for the December session. Now this exam will be held on 14 December 2024 instead of 15 December. This is the second time that the board has changed the date of CTET December exam.
The CTET exam was earlier scheduled to be held on December 1, 2024, which was later postponed to December 15. Recently, due to some competitive exams scheduled to be held on 15th December, the board revised the exam date once again after the request of the candidates.
CBSE in its official notice said that if the number of candidates is more in a particular city, then the exam can be conducted in that city also on December 15. There is a plan to conduct this examination in 136 cities across the country.
Exam will be held on this day
It has been said by the Board that now as per the information received from various candidates, some competitive examinations in some states/union territories are to be held on 15 December 2024 (Sunday). Therefore, keeping in mind the interests of the candidates, it has been decided to conduct the CTET exam on 14 December 2024 (Saturday).
Also, the last date to fill the application form for CTET 2024 is 16 October 2024. Interested and eligible candidates can apply by visiting the official website ctet.nic.in. The examination will be conducted in two shifts. The first shift will be from 9:30 am to 12 noon, while the second shift will be from 2:30 pm to 5 pm.
