CBSE Action: Recognition of 21 schools cancelled, 6 downgraded, see full list here

CBSE Action:The Central Board of Secondary Education has canceled the recognition of 21 schools. Most of the schools included in this list are in Delhi. CBSE has also reduced the recognition of 6 schools in Delhi. The board has taken strict action against schools due to violation of rules and irregularities. The list of these schools has been released on Wednesday on the official website www.cbse.gov.in.

CBSE had conducted surprise inspections of various schools across the country with the aim of ensuring compliance with the examination and affiliation bye-laws. During this period, many cases of irregularities came to light. After which the board decided to cancel the recognition of the schools and downgrade them. Affiliation of 15 schools of Delhi and 5 schools of Rajasthan has been cancelled.
